SUMMARY:Rancho Mirage Bike Lane Celebration & Ribbon Cutting
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special Ribbon Cutting on Sunday\, November 17th at 10 am at Fire Station #69 on Gerald Ford Drive. Ceremony will be at 10:15 am with refreshments to follow. Parking at CDMoD. \n\n\n\nThis year there have been tremendous strides to improving Rancho Mirage's bicycle network by adding enhancements to promote cyclist safety. An additional five miles of striped bicycle lanes were added within the City of Rancho Mirage\, including sections on Dinah Shore Drive\, Gerald Ford Drive\, Da Vall Drive and Los Alamos Road. Rancho Mirage now has over 35 miles of striped bike lanes throughout the city. \n\n\n\nAdditional safety improvements added this year include: enhanced vibrantly colored striping at intersections\, buffer lanes on Bob Hope Drive and safety markings and signage throughout the City. These roadway improvements are a demonstration to Rancho Mirage's dedication to a bicycle network that is safer for everyone.\n\n\n\nAll are welcome! In partnership with Desert Bicycle Club.
