About Us

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is the world's largest rotating tramcar located on the west-end of Palm Springs. Board the Tramway at the Valley Station and ascend two-one-half miles to the Mountain Station. In just about 10 minutes, visitors have access to Peaks Restaurant, Pines Cafe, and the Lookout Lounge. Also at the Mountain Station, visitors can enjoy a gift shop, viewing decks, and a natural history museum. Head outside the Mountain Station and into the Mount San Jacinto State Park and Wilderness for access to over 14,000 acres of pristine wilderness. Several hiking trails are available during non-winter months, ranging from beginner (0.75-mile loop) to advanced (11-mile hike to the Peak). It's always 30-40 degrees cooler at the mountain, making it a winter wonderland full of snow fun November - March (check current weather forecasts).
