Description
The chamber of commerce has announced the 2024 Candidates Forum for those running for council for the City of Rancho Mirage. The event will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Rancho Mirage Library & Observatory: 71100 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage.
There is no cost to attend but seating is limited – please RSVP by clicking the registration button or email Info@RanchoMirage.org
Chamber Members can submit questions no later than October 1, 2024 for consideration – email to Katie.Stice@RanchoMirage.org
The questions asked will be a combination of Chamber Members who have submitted questions and from the Chamber’s Advocacy Committee.
The event will be aired on October 11, 2024 through Election day in two places: RMTV for Rancho Mirage residents (Spectrum channel 17) and on the Rancho Mirage Chamber’s You Tube Channel.
There are five candidates running for two open seats – they are:
• Weill, Ted (Incumbent)
• O’Keefe, Michael (Appointed Incumbent)
• Avrashow, Wayne
• Lewis, Nate
• Goodman, Gregory
