Job Summary
The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce is seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to support various office operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or young professional to gain hands-on experience in business operations, marketing, and member services.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with front desk support, including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Support the Chamber’s marketing and events by coordinating campaigns, creating content, and managing social media and promotional materials
  • Maintain organizational systems and assist with time-sensitive tasks in several departments 
  • Help with member services and outreach
 
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience is preferred
  • Interest in business, marketing, and Chamber operations
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, teachable attitude and willingness to learn
 
Compensation
Part-time; wage is currently under review and will be discussed during the hiring process.

Bilingual: Not Required
