Brianna Miller Honored as an Ambassador of the Year for Outstanding Community Leadership
Palm Desert, CA — Brianna Miller has been named an Ambassador of the Year honoree, recognizing her 16 years of dedicated service, leadership, and advocacy on behalf of children, families, and the broader Riverside County community.
Miller currently serves as the Recruitment & Outreach Manager for Voices for Children, Riverside County’s Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. In this role, she leads efforts to engage and mobilize volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system. Her work has played a vital role in strengthening community awareness and ensuring vulnerable children have a consistent, caring voice in the court system.
A lifelong advocate for service and sustainability, Miller earned her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego before serving in the Peace Corps in Panama as a Community Environmental Conservation volunteer. Her international service experience deepened her commitment to community empowerment and environmental stewardship.
To further advance her work as an environmental activist, Miller earned certifications as a California Desert Naturalist and Climate Steward through the University of California, Riverside. She continues to integrate environmental education and conservation into her professional and personal life.
Miller is an active community leader and collaborator, serving as a Rotarian, a member of BNI Success Professionals, and a graduate of Leadership Coachella Valley. She also gives back through board service with two local animal rescue organizations, reflecting her passion for advocacy in all its forms.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Miller enjoys live music, birding, hiking, and reading. She lives in her hometown of Palm Desert with her boyfriend, Jamie, and their rescue dog, Darby.
