Eisenhower Health Receives International Recognition for Excellence in Lactation Care

Rancho Mirage, CA (June 11, 2025) Eisenhower Health has been honored with the IBCLC Care Award by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) and the International Lactation Consultant Association® (ILCA®). This international recognition highlights Eisenhower’s commitment to maternal and infant health by employing professionals with the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant® (IBCLC®) credential and providing comprehensive lactation support services to breastfeeding families.
 
Eisenhower Health is one of only five new facilities in California to receive this distinction in 2025 — and the only facility in the Coachella Valley to earn the recognition this year.

The IBCLC Care Award is given to hospitals and facilities that employ IBCLCs and demonstrate ongoing activities that protect, promote, and support breastfeeding. IBCLCs provide skilled, evidence-based care to families from pregnancy through postpartum – helping them initiate and sustain breastfeeding, overcome challenges, and meet their feeding goals.
