FIREBIRDS GOLF CLASSIC SET FOR NOVEMBER 30 AT BIG ROCK GOLF & PUB

Public Registration Now Open for Limited-Capacity Tournament Benefiting One Valley Foundation

PALM DESERT, CA (October 6, 2026) – The Coachella Valley Firebirds announced today that public registration is now open for the Firebirds Golf Classic, presented by Big Rock Golf & Pub, taking place Monday, November 30, 2026, at Big Rock Golf & Pub. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit One Valley Foundation and its partners throughout the Coachella Valley.

The Firebirds Golf Classic will offer participants a unique opportunity to spend the day alongside members of the Firebirds family. The tournament is limited to 36 teams, with each three-golfer team paired with a Firebirds player, coach, hockey operations representative, or team personality, subject to availability and team approval.

The limited-capacity format is designed to create a personal and memorable experience for golfers, sponsors, Firebirds representatives, and community supporters while raising funds to support local programs throughout the Coachella Valley.

“The Firebirds Golf Classic is another way we can bring people together around the Firebirds while creating meaningful impact throughout the Coachella Valley,” said Kate Spates, Executive Director of One Valley Foundation. “The support generated through this event will stay right here in our community, helping us invest in local organizations and programs that are making a difference every day. We’re excited to give golfers and community partners a memorable way to connect with the Firebirds family while supporting our work across Community, Education, and Well-Being.”

Golfer registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The day will include a grab-and-go breakfast, driving range access, an 18-hole scramble, golfer gifts, on-course contests and sponsor activities, team photo opportunities, raffle and auction activities, and an awards reception with members of the Firebirds family following golf.

SUPPORTING THE COACHELLA VALLEY

Proceeds from the Firebirds Golf Classic will benefit One Valley Foundation and its work throughout the Coachella Valley. The Foundation focuses its efforts across three pillars: Community, Education, and Well-Being, supporting organizations and programs that strengthen the region and create opportunities for local residents.

Through Community, the Foundation supports belonging, dignity, safety, independence, accessibility, community connection, and the human-animal bond. Its Education initiatives help local students build the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to succeed, while its Well-Being efforts help people throughout the Valley live healthier, safer, more active, and more stable lives.

The Firebirds Golf Classic continues One Valley Foundation’s commitment that Local Money Stays Local, with funds raised through the event supporting meaningful impact throughout the Coachella Valley.

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities may also remain available, subject to existing partner agreements, category rights, golf and signage inventory, and internal approval.
