Forest Lawn to Host Free “Cremation Conversations” Seminar October 23 in Cathedral City
Two sessions will help Coachella Valley families understand cremation, memorialization and advance planning.
CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif., October 20, 2026 — Forest Lawn invites Coachella Valley residents to “Cremation Conversations,” a free educational seminar on Friday, October 23, at Forest Lawn–Cathedral City, 69855 E. Ramon Road, Cathedral City, CA 92234. Guests may choose between sessions beginning at 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The seminar will help individuals and families better understand their options and make informed decisions about cremation and funeral planning. Topics will include:
- What to consider when choosing cremation.
- Cremation costs, pricing and value.
- Memorialization options, including burial choices, urns and keepsakes.
- The importance of personalized, meaningful gatherings and services.
- The advantages of planning ahead.
