Rancho Mirage Chamber President & CEO Joins Regional Leadership Body Serving Chamber Professionals Across the West
 
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that its President and CEO, Katie Slimko-Tuvell, IOM, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE), the premier organization for education and professional development for chamber executives and staff across the western United States and Canada.
 
WACE represents hundreds of chambers of commerce and more than 800 chamber professionals throughout the region, providing industry best practices, professional development, and leadership resources to the chamber community. Slimko-Tuvell's appointment positions her to help advance the chamber industry while channeling significant resources and expertise back to the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce and its members.
 
“Joining this team was a wonderful invitation to help further the industry and bring tremendous resources back to the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce,” said Slimko-Tuvell. “We are a regional chamber with a local feel, which is very unique in our area. Serving on the WACE board allows us to stay at the forefront of what’s next for chambers while never losing sight of the businesses and community we serve every day.”
 
In her role on the WACE Board of Directors, Slimko-Tuvell will contribute to the strategic direction of the association, support the advancement of the chamber leadership pipeline, and collaborate with chamber executives across the West to strengthen the profession as a whole.
 
Her appointment underscores the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing commitment to professional excellence, regional leadership, and delivering meaningful value to its members and the greater Coachella Valley business community.
