New Addition in the Coachella Valley’s Only Shopping Mall Creates More Than 35 Local Jobs and Adds to The Shops at Palm Desert’s Continued Growth
[Palm Desert, CA] – The Shops at Palm Desert continues to build momentum with the addition of established retailers – expanded shopping options and new employment opportunities for the Coachella Valley. The center announced today that Urban Planet has opened in a 21,944 sq. foot space on Level 2 near JCPenney – bringing its signature selection of affordable, trend-driven fashion for men and women to the desert.
The new store is among just six Urban Planet locations in California, with additional expansion planned throughout the state in 2027. The new Palm Desert location has already created more than 35 jobs, with additional positions being added as the store grows. Urban Planet is also actively recruiting team members for the upcoming holiday shopping season, providing even more opportunities for local employment.
