PALM SPRINGS POWER BASEBALL RETURNS MAY 29TH FOR 2026 SEASON OPENER WITH POST-GAME FIREWORKS
Palm Springs, Calif. –  Baseball is back in the Coachella Valley. The Palm Springs Power, three-time defending California Premier Collegiate League (CPCL) champions, open the 2026 season on Friday, May 29th against the Utah Yacks at Palm Springs Stadium. First pitch is set for 6:30 PM, with stadium gates opening at 5:00 PM. The night caps off with a post-game fireworks show at approximately 9:30 PM.
The Power enter 2026 riding historic momentum after capturing their third consecutive CPCL title last season on a thrilling 9th-inning walk-off victory. Manager Casey Dill returns for his landmark 10th season at the helm, backed by a revamped coaching staff and a team laser-focused on bringing a fourth straight championship back to Palm Springs Stadium.
Opening Weekend promises to be a three-day celebration of baseball and community. On Opening Night, Friday May 29th, local favorites Juice It Up! and Handel's Ice Cream will be on-site with vendor booths, giving fans even more reason to arrive early and soak in the full experience before first pitch. The evening wraps up with a post-game fireworks show at approximately 9:30 PM.
The fun continues on Saturday, May 30th with Little League Night, celebrating the next generation of ballplayers in the Coachella Valley.
Opening Weekend concludes with one of the most unique events of the summer, the Heroes on the Diamond Charity Exhibition. Power players will team up with members of the Palm Springs Police and Fire Departments for a special charity baseball game, with all proceeds benefiting both the Palm Springs Police Officers Association and the Palm Springs Fire Foundation. It's a night to honor the men and women who serve our community, and a game you won't want to miss.
Affordability and fan value remain a top priority for the organization in 2026. General Admission tickets are $10, Senior tickets are $8, and Youth tickets (ages 12 and under) are $5. Fans looking to attend every home game can purchase a Season Ticket for just $100.
For those seeking the full stadium experience, the Power offer two premium ticket packages: the Power Ticket ($16) includes admission, a hot dog, chips, soda, and a commemorative koozie; and the All-American Ticket ($20) includes admission, a hot dog, chips, and a cold draft beer of choice.
