Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce Launches MOMENTUM, a Season-Long Campaign to Help Local Businesses Begin Their Climb
New and renewing members get a social media announcement, press release, live "Momentum Minute" introduction and a featured newsletter highlight, now through December 31
Season is here in the Coachella Valley, and the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce wants every local business and nonprofit to feel it. This October, the Chamber launched MOMENTUM, a membership campaign that gives new and renewing members a high-visibility welcome to the community from now through December 31, 2026.
Every business in the valley knows the feeling when the snowbirds land, the restaurants fill up and the calendar gets busy. MOMENTUM is built to meet that moment. It puts members in front of customers, partners and neighbors right when it counts most.
"Momentum is something you build. Nobody gets to the top of the mountain in one step," said Katie Slimko-Tuvell, IOM, President and CEO of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. "Our members are the people who make this city work. They open the doors, sponsor the teams and show up for their neighbors. This season we want to show up for them. When you join us, we don't just add your name to a list. We tell the whole valley you've arrived, and then we climb with you."
What Momentum Members receive
Businesses and nonprofits that join or renew during the campaign get four ways to be seen:
- A social media announcement on the Chamber's channels, introducing them to the Chamber's community of followers
- A press release announcement shared with local media and partners
- A live "Momentum Minute" introduction, a chance to tell their story in their own words in front of the Chamber community
- A special highlight in the Chamber newsletter, reaching members and community leaders across the valley
Those benefits come on top of everything Chamber membership already offers, from networking and the Signature Speaker Series to ribbon cuttings, the Shop Local Guide and a calendar of events built to connect people who do business in Rancho Mirage.
Who should join
MOMENTUM is open to businesses of every size and to nonprofits across the Coachella Valley. That includes the shop that opened last spring, the firm that has served the valley for decades and the nonprofit ready to grow its circle of supporters. Members whose renewal comes up during the campaign get the same benefits.
