Rancho Mirage Chamber Sets September 18 Deadline for Inclusion in Valley’s Largest Shop Local Guide

Rancho Mirage Chamber Sets September 18 Deadline for Inclusion in Valley’s Largest Shop Local Guide
Businesses and nonprofits that join by the print date will be listed in a 17,000-copy annual guide distributed across three cities
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — [Date] — The Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce announced today that any business or nonprofit joining the Chamber on or before September 18, 2026 will be included in the 2026–2027 Shop Local Guide, the Chamber’s annual print directory of Coachella Valley businesses.
The Guide will be printed in a run of 17,000 copies and distributed throughout Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and Cathedral City. At 98 pages and perfect bound, it is designed to remain in homes and offices for a full year — a rarity in a marketing landscape where most advertising disappears within days.
A digital edition is available year-round at RanchoMirageChamber.org, giving listed businesses a searchable, shareable presence online in addition to the printed distribution.
“Most marketing has a shelf life measured in hours,” said Katie Slimko-Tuvell, IOM, President/CEO of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce. “This sits on a counter for a year, and it lives online all year alongside it. That is a genuinely different kind of visibility, and it is included with membership — there is no additional cost to be listed. The only thing standing between a business and that page is the September 18 print date.”
Chamber listing is a standard member benefit. Businesses that join after the September 18 deadline will remain eligible for all other Chamber programs and benefits, but will not appear in print until the following edition in fall 2027.
The Guide will be formally launched at the Chamber’s Business EXPO & Job Fair on November 12, 2026 at Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage. Display advertising within the Guide remains available, including a dedicated Health and Wellness section, with the same September 18 deadline. [Confirm current ad availability before release.]
The Chamber is encouraging area nonprofits to take advantage of the deadline as well. Nonprofit organizations are eligible for Chamber membership and inclusion in the Guide, placing them alongside the business community in front of residents most likely to volunteer, donate, and attend. [Add nonprofit rate detail if applicable.]
Businesses and nonprofits interested in joining before the deadline can contact the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce at [phone] or [email], or visit [website].
