Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert Launches Discovery Alliance to Recognize
Local Business Support
Rancho Mirage, CA — The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert has launched a new
community partnership initiative called the Discovery Alliance, inviting local businesses
to support the museum while being publicly recognized for their commitment to children
and families in the Coachella Valley.
Through the Discovery Alliance, participating businesses receive recognition with a logo tile
on the museum’s Eyes of Discovery mural, located outside the museum along Gerald
Ford Drive and viewed by thousands of local residents and visitors each year.
Businesses joining the Discovery Alliance also receive a window cling to display in their
storefront, demonstrating their support for the museum and its mission to inspire creativity,
curiosity, and learning through hands-on discovery.
“Local businesses play an important role in helping us provide meaningful learning
experiences for children and families,” said Cindy Burreson, CEO of the Children's
Discovery Museum of the Desert. “The Discovery Alliance celebrates the businesses that
believe in the power of imagination and education.”
Businesses may participate at two levels:
Discovery Alliance Member – $250
Includes a logo tile on the Eyes of Discovery mural and a Discovery Alliance window cling.
Discovery Alliance Leadership Circle – $1,000
Includes mural recognition, window cling, website and social media recognition, and an
invitation to the exclusive Discovery Alliance Leadership Circle Cocktail Reception
celebrating community partners at the Museum.
Support from the Discovery Alliance helps the museum continue providing hands-on
educational programs and creative learning opportunities for children and families
throughout the Coachella Valley.
