We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks once again to our mentors and good friends, Rich and Lisa Ibay, who have dedicated over a decade of support and service to this cause. They have now passed the reins to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to take on this privilege for the Spring Golf Classic and beyond!
Thanks to events like this, no family receives a bill from St. Jude, which was founded by Danny Thomas in 1962. St. Jude is not only a hospital dedicated to saving children; it is also a research institution that is leading the way in understanding, treating, and defeating childhood cancer. When the hospital first opened, the overall pediatric survival rate was 20%. Thanks to St. Jude’s efforts, that survival rate has now increased to 80%. But our work continues until we can fulfill Danny Thomas’s dream that “No child should die in the dawn of life.”
