Palm Desert, CA – August 26, 2025 – The Shops on El Paseo is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of Chico’s, Soma, and White House Black Market this fall, each reopening in beautifully refreshed, new storefronts. To celebrate, a Grand Opening Event will take place on Thursday, September 12, 2025, featuring exclusive offers, giveaways, and more.
 
The first 50 guests at each store on opening day will receive a $50 gift card. In addition, loyalty program members will earn 3x points on their entire purchase during the event—a bonus available to both new and existing members. Joining the loyalty program is free and available in-store. Shoppers can also look forward to special promotions and exclusive offers throughout the weekend as part of the grand reopening celebration.
 
The Grand Opening comes on the heels of recent roadwork and sidewalk improvements along El Paseo and in front of The Shops on El Paseo, making visits to the shopping district even more convenient and pedestrian-friendly. In addition to complimentary curbside parking, The Shops on El Paseo features parking along the back side of its stores and restaurants.

In addition, the expanded Vuori store will soon re-open, presenting an extended collection of premium performance apparel for men and women that transition seamlessly from workout to weekend.
 
As the season continues, The Shops on El Paseo is proud to support community traditions, including the beloved Paint El Paseo Pink walk, taking place on October 11. The two-mile walk raises breast cancer awareness and raises funds for Desert Cancer Foundation to assist those with breast cancer by paying for medical costs. Following, the famed Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade takes place on October 26. Dozens of carts are decked out with elaborate décor, from spaceships, animals, boats, and much more, the 2025 theme is “California Dreaming.”
 
The annual holiday tree lighting ceremony at The Shops on El Paseo is now scheduled for November 22, 2025.  The event will kick-off the holiday season and feature a festive atmosphere with decorations, carolers, seasonal treats, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus
