Walter Clark Legal Group Continues Distributing 4,500 New Backpacks Filled
with School Supplies to Local Students
Rancho Mirage, CA – August 12, 2026 – Walter Clark Legal Group is continuing its annual backpack
donation program by providing approximately 4,500 new backpacks filled with school supplies to
students across Southern California as they return to the classroom.This year, the firm is supporting six
elementary schools across five school districts. To help make each distribution a little more fun for
students, the backpacks include a wider variety of colors and designs for children to choose from.
More than half of the backpacks have already been distributed to students at Cabot Yerxa Elementary
School in Desert Hot Springs, Westside Elementary School in Thermal, and the Victor Elementary
School District. The remaining backpacks will be distributed as follows.
Backpack Distribution Schedule:
? Saul Martinez Elementary School (Mecca) 1,100 backpacks,
August 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
? Kennedy Elementary School (Indio): 350 backpacks during Chalk
the Walk, August 18, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
? McKinley Elementary School (El Centro): 435 backpacks, August
21, 2026, TBD
The backpacks and school supplies are the result of a $50,000 investment by Walter Clark Legal Group
to help ease the financial burden many families face during the back-to-school season.
