WILD Nights at Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is BACK for September
WHAT:
Back by popular demand, WILD Nights invites guests to experience The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens after dark. Every Friday in September, from 6:30–9:00 p.m., visitors can enjoy cooler evening temps and explore the Zoo after dark! Venture to Wild Americas, a rarely-seen-at-night section of the park, and say hello to the North American animals like the mountain lions, Mexican wolves, skunks, bighorn sheep, and the baby bobcats. Guests can also take part in special nighttime activities including stargazing with the Astronomy Society of the Desert, listening for bats, and scouting for scorpions.
Each evening features:
Wild Americas After Dark – Visit some of your favorite North American animals like the mountain lions, Mexican wolves, skunks, jaguar, bighorn sheep, and the baby bobcats.
Splashing Under the Stars – Make the most of warm summer nights with a stop at the splash pad to cool off in the fountains and watch the colorful lights.
Special Keeper Connections – Meet our Animal Care team and learn how they care for 600+ animals at the Zoo.
Bat Detection – Join us and tune into the nighttime chatter of native bats.
Scouting for Scorpions – Grab a blacklight and join a guided stroll in search of these glowing desert dwellers.
